Korkos has done his thesis research in collaboration with Tampere University and Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy. The goal of Korkos’s research was to create a data driven method for detecting faults in the hydraulic pitch system of wind turbines, using only data coming from already installed systems in the wind turbines.
