DSII course lecture by Professor Stephen Wright who is, in his own words, "a seasoned commercial aviation expert with an extensive experience in both academic research and industry".
The lecture will explain how the aviation industry has managed to be so safety focus over the short 100+ year history. The philosophy of error management and models will be discussed, and it will give the audience an understanding of why things go wrong (in normal life).
